it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are enthusiastic learners. They fully engage in hands-on and inquiry based learning. They crave real, tactile learning. Since returning after COVID, "virtual" labs have been so prevalent in classrooms that students tune out cognitively as soon as a computer is opened. Students are motivated by real experiences.
The equipment provided in this project will allow my students to observe photosynthesis and then to create their own investigations to determine how variables affect plant growth.
The hydroponics towers, nutrients, and grow lights will enable six different classrooms to fully participate in photosynthesis investigations.
