This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Every year we do a unit during spring where we talk about nature and growth and healthy eating. These items will help my students experiencing life coming alive in the formation of butterflies from caterpillars. We will also use the money in our flower shop and learn about how to appreciate nature.
I have always loved to see my students excited about watching the caterpillars grow into butterflies!
Even more, they are so excited to give back to nature by releasing them. This is a chance for you to help us meet this goal. The other items will be used for years to come!
