Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The visual arts are a great outlet for students. Not enough of our students today are exposed to various outlets for their creativity. We will use all the materials to ensure that students have the ability to let their artistic talents shine.
In our student leadership class, we are always working on creating beautiful banners and posters for our events; these colored pencils, paint, glue and other supplies will be a much-needed boost to our resources.
In the history classes, we will use these materials to create graphic organizers, posters, and historical brochures for the respective areas of study.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
