This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Flocabulary is an online resource with videos, vocabulary, and numerous teacher resources for all subjects. It engages the kids, entertaining them as they learn. My students work hard, they are from all different backgrounds, and many of them don't have entertaining, learning resources at home. Flocabulary introduces the lesson with a music video packed with information about the subject. Kids then interact with vocabulary, games, and teaching resources that test their knowledge.

Flocabulary uses songs that will engage and motivate my middle school students.

The lyrics will help them remember information related to the topic we are learning about in Math class. I will be able to set up my classes in the app so they can access the music and assignments. They can work independently, with a partner, small group or whole group instruction. I love the variety of ways I can use Flocabulary!
