it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Elementary students at our school love to learn about themselves and the world. Social emotional lessons are essential for students to learn about their emotions, managing difficult feelings, and learning to manage relationships with others. The lessons from these books can help me deliver SEL lessons to our younger grades and support their development.
Providing elementary students with tools and skills to manage their personal development can have an impact for a lifetime.
My goal is to foster empowerment in my students so they feel prepared to manage difficult situations and make difficult decisions. Challenges exist in everyday life, and they need opportunities to learn skills to appropriately to respond to developmental challenges.
