My Project

Other time in person’s life stressing me very overwhelming. As educators we have found there are certain manipulatives that can help our students to destress and open up learning opportunities. Not everyone needs the same technique or objects to allow academic success. My students have many unique needs and require extra attention.

In my classroom I have found that having a few unique sensory items available to them, they can listen and interact more easily.

Stress balls, sensory bottles, stretchy strings, pop tubes, and a few other things at their arms reach, changes their trajectory of learning.

I would love to have some sensory objects available to my students at all times so they can regulate themselves simply picking up some thing from the sensory bin and self regulating. This will allow them to use their time wisely and be engaged in learning at a more rapid rate. in my classroom, every student is special. When children have a unique diagnosis, it gives me opportunities to teach in a more specialized manner.
