My Project
As a kindergarten teacher, I frequently find myself in need of high-quality, decodable books that truly meet the developmental and instructional needs of my young learners. While there are many resources available for purchase, the majority of these options only provide digital access to a book that must then be printed and copied for each student. This not only consumes a significant amount of paper but also takes up valuable instructional planning time. I am requesting the Hands 2 Mind decodable book sets because they are specifically designed to support beginning readers with simple, structured text aligned to phonics instruction. These books are printed, durable, and ready to use, which will greatly reduce preparation time and ensure that my students each have their own copy to practice with during reading groups. Additionally, the engaging stories and age-appropriate content in the Hands 2 Mind series will motivate my students to read and build their confidence in decoding skills. Providing these books will directly support literacy development in my classroom while also promoting sustainability and efficiency.
