Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The privacy shields and headphones will provide students with a better testing environment. Headphones allow students to practice taking assessments where directions are given through audio. With the privacy shields, students will see less of the surrounding distractions;, allowing them to focus on their assessments/tasks. Students often lost attention when they are looking around the classroom at what other students are doing/not doing. The shields will also provide privacy for students to work freely without feeling judged.
Lastly, more accountability for all students!
It's important for students to remember that they need to demonstrate their understanding of the concepts they have learned. Therefore, I want to eliminate the ability for students to compare their work to others, then second guess themselves and change their work. This shields will make them feel confident in the work they have accomplished.
