This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our mission is to stoke a genuine interest in STEM and JSTEM by bridging classroom concepts with their practical applications in the real world. Embarking on this journey, we're crafting a documentary to delve into the influence of a particular technological breakthrough. Harnessing the precision of Sony cameras, zoom lens, and the versatility of Mevo, we'll meticulously document and capture the nuances and intricacies of this innovation, bringing our curriculum to life through the lens of real-world impact.
Creating a documentary—from research and scriptwriting to filming and post-production—encompasses many skills.
Students will gain experience in technical areas, such as audio-visual technology, and soft skills like teamwork, problem-solving, and communication. These are essential competencies for future careers, particularly in STEM. This lens and stand will be used to do just that.
