My Students

Our Coastal Georgia school is a Title I high-poverty school, with over 70% of our students receiving free or reduced price lunch.

Our classroom is filled with twenty-one brilliant third graders who love learning!

We always have fun and exciting things going on in our classroom. We strive to create a positive learning environment. It's important to keep students engaged and intrigued. Learning happens when students are engaged. The lessons in our classroom are designed to meet the needs and interests of all learners.

My Project

My classroom is in need of a class set of headphones. We also need a place to store the headphones. With your donations, my students will be able to listen without distractions. Our classroom is currently transitioning. We are incorporating the use of technology to meet the needs of all students. By 2018, we hope to have a computer for every child. These students need headphones to listen to important instructions given through their computer programs. Many students need stories and instructions read aloud to them, especially our struggling readers and English language learners. Headphones can make this possible!
