Help me give my students items that are fundamental to the student’s health and well-being. This project is not tied to any content learning objectives, but will make my students come to school at their healthiest selves.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Lend a hand, give a can is a project that is designed to request essentials that my students need in and out of the classroom. It is not tied to any classroom lessons or specific learning objectives, but instead it will make my students come to school at their healthiest and happiest selves.
Living on an inadequate income can bring a lot of stress to students such as inadequate nutrition and food insecurity, lack of basic services, substandard housing, and inadequate child care that adversely impact their physical and mental health.
