Lemonade Stands and Entrepreneurial Kids in Picture Books!

My Project

Financial and numerical literacy is central to our learning in the library at our school. Early emerging readers will read books at home like "Splat the Cat and the Lemonade Stand" The PreK students will do counting games and story sing-a-longs with other books about dinosaurs, girl scientists and more! From counting, to budgeting, to exploring the concept of savings and spending, students will learn early on how to be financially savvy.

As they grasp the concepts of financial investment through favorite storybook characters, students will participate in sing-a-longs, community building, and lots of laughter as they learn about money.

Thanks for helping my students learn math and financial literacy in a painless and joyful way, building a strong foundation for lifelong learning in STEM and finance.
