Our students are amazing; we are one big community of learners. Our students take a genuine interest in each other, work hard to achieve their goals, and constantly seek out new ways to learn. We love to wiggle, giggle, and grow!
Our school is a three time National School of Character, and my seven and eight year olds shine every day.
Our students are both strong leaders and team players. They are hands-on learners who learn best through interaction and experience. Every day is a great day with the students - it's truly an honor to teach these children.
My Project
The use of Chromebooks is almost a daily activity in my classroom. The students have started learning how to research and it is becoming difficult to find safe websites for them to use. Therefore, I would like to use some of the DVDs of animals, matter, etc. for them to listen to for their research. However, this is not possible with their Chromebooks. They need to have an external DVD player to accomplish this. In addition, my students LOVE Legos. We just received a box from our last project and they ALL wanted play with them and with Covid, they have to have their own set.

Students will be able to use their Legos for our morning STEM activities. They are going to be so excited!
