My Project
Think like a SCIENTIST through STEM education. This STEM grant enables 2nd grade students to be LEARNERS Today, LEADERS Tomorrow by offering many hands-on learning opportunities.
As technology evolves rapidly, we wonder how to prepare students for the jobs of tomorrow.
Many skills can be built through STEM, such as creativity, critical thinking, innovation, problem-solving, and teamwork, which helps students be successful in the future. STEM also empowers students with new ways to create, innovate, iterate, and reflect, which are directly related to the skills students need to be career ready.
STEM is not just about learning science, technology, engineering, and math content, but rather it's a way to connect and support learning in all content areas. STEM-focused activities help promote digital literacy skills and provide students with learning experiences that spark curiosity and prepare them for the fields that are in demand.
Many of these fields begin today in the classroom with coding, engineering, and problem solving. We are up for the challenge, however, we are in desperate need of STEM supplies!
Many of the supplies that we need include STEM kits to better prepare 2nd graders for demanding fields in computer science, medicine, technology, mathematics, and many more!
