This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Covid has affected my students by limiting their experiences with cooperative learning. My students will be able to work in teams while learning. The LEGO® Education SPIKE™ Prime Set will engage learners in STEM. Students will learn how to build a functioning SPIKE robot in a team setting. My students will also learn how to program in Scratch. Building with SPIKE continuously engages students through meaningful learning activities to help them think critically and solve complex problems. All students will be able to engineer and learn to program which I hope will help them think about a STEM career. My students are eager learners and I am excited to introduce them to skills for the future!
