This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are a film and communication magnet school in Los Angeles. My school is in a low-income area but students still come to school excited to learn. I teach a wonderful group of second graders who love to build and create new things using their hands and their imaginations!

I am requesting a Creative LEGO Brick set and StoryTales with storage for my students so that they can work on their building, engineering, and problem solving skills in a fun way.

I know that my students will love to play with these materials when we do STEM projects as well as when we have free time at the end of the day!
