LEGO Robots Learn to Code Through LEGO Robotics

Help me give my students the FIRST LEGO League Challenge Program. Our school is a Title I school, many of our children do not have access to cutting-edge STEM activities.

My Project

We want your help as we sponsor the FIRST LEGO League Challenge Program this year at our Elementary school. Because our school is a Title I school, many of our children do not have access to cutting-edge STEM activities outside of the classroom. For the majority of my students, this is their first exposure to coding. In the course, my group of 20 students in the 6th through 8th grades build LEGO robots and program them to do a range of tasks to obtain access to the computer science and engineering curriculum. Sadly, there is only two robots available for every 20 students. Our club will become substantially more interesting and have a better chance of winning the tournament in December, where students will compete against one another, by adding a third robot and motor. Help however you can.
