My Students

My students are the future of the 21st century working force. The students here come from a diverse background both socially and racially Our Title I Priority school embraces the task of educating every student and catering to the needs of each child! These students need opportunities to solve local issues using inventive ideas. Our students live in an area where giving back will give the students a scene of local ownership. If the community feels like the students are solving local issues, then they will give back to the school.

My students will benefit from this project because they will develop skills in effective communication in the 21st century world and positively effect their local community.

My Project

Legos provide a great way for students to build a stop motion message to deliver a public service announcements. Students work hard in my class using technology and completing projects that are linked to solving real world problems. The legos requested will give students a new mode of communicating.

Local issues are being solved by our students.

This project will have students creating stop motion films to communicate. The first project they will communicate on is creating a public service announcement on distracted driving. The project will have a website, physics of a crash, and Lego stop motion animation. HOW COOL!!
