This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students love to build and create with the materials in my classroom. They are always coming up with cities, vehicles, and so many different things they build with open-ended materials. We were recently given a moderate-sized container of LEGOS, and there are not quite enough for students to share and truly build the things they see in the book provided or in their imaginations.
By purchasing these additional LEGO sets, I can provide plenty of LEGOS to make my students' creations come to life in the classroom.
My students love to create large projects and cooperative projects. Giving them more materials to work with will help lessen the issues with sharing due to the small amount we have.
The best part about purchasing real LEGO brand is that the durability is better, and they will last for many years to come in my Transitional Kindergarten (TK) classroom.
