This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Lego's create a mode of relaxation, a way to even out the playing field in school. I l would like to create a Lego Club this school year. It would be wonderful to see our students engage in creative activities that not only foster their imagination but also enhance their social communication skills with al students with our without social or educational challenges.

I have seen my special education students thrive in this environment, building friendships and developing positive self-esteem as they work together on projects.

The creativity that my students have and the ability to talk with others in a safe, calm space is inspiring, and I truly believe it plays a significant role in their overall development as students to learn how to work together, and believe that they can create and have the tenacity to work through challenging projects.

By donating to the Lego Club you will help create a safe and nurturing space for everyone. I look forward to continuing our efforts to support our students growth.
