Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I currently service students in ELL, Sped, Students with disabilities and general education. Many of them struggle while making attempts to communicate effectively with their peers. Nevertheless, they are always looking for ways to interact with others and challenge their minds.
These students have literally begged to have a LEGO club.
They want and need to be involved in an activity they will enjoy and learn from with their peers. From this, they will build relationships, build on their communication skills, problem solve and participate in challenges while being creative using LEGOs. These skills will also transfer to the classroom.
Ms. West will appreciate your donations of LEGO blocks and plates so that we can have our first LEGO club.
