This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
LEGO Leaders is a club run by myself in my school, in which students use LEGO bricks to create prototypes for real-world situations. In the past, we have completed challenges associated with natural disasters and building items to protect people, animals, and properties.
With these architectural LEGO sets, my students will be able to gain a deeper understanding of the world around them and how all the "pieces" fit together.
We will dive into the history of the buildings, reading articles and books about the castle, the Taj Mahal, and London.
Students will gain invaluable skills in critical thinking, growth mindset, global citizenry, and more.
