Our students deserve to have collaborative and fun learning experiences that foster a variety of skills. A LEGO wall will help to build those skills! I've managed to obtain most of the base plates for our wall, but I need help getting us the rest of the way to completion.
Research shows that building with LEGO develops creative and cognitive processes.
Students who engage with LEGO are more likely to have an easier time with mathematical and geometric concepts, as well as a propensity for engineering. There are also documented benefits for neurodivergent students as well. Our students are also thirsty for collaborative and fun ways to spend their time in the library, and a LEGO wall is exactly what we need!
