This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Every time the children enter the school library, I want them to be excited to learn about all the new people, places, lessons, and journeys they will be able to encounter during their library time! Our school is home to almost 500 eager learners in grades Pre-K through 5th grade. Our students come from diverse backgrounds. Some of our families face a daily struggle just to provide for their families' basic needs. I am very excited to have the opportunity to bring many positive library experiences to our school.

I am requesting LEGO sets for a new library maker space.

These LEGO sets are for my youngest students. They will be able to explore, create and build with these. There imaginations will be able to run wild. These LEGO will be a perfect way to get are makers space started.
