My Students

I teach twenty-five happy and excited-to-learn third graders. All day long they have fun growing, thinking, and trying their best. Our school is a wonderful, small multicultural school located in Los Angeles. Many of the students at our school qualify for free or reduced-price lunch, and everyone receives free breakfast.

I teach a fantastic group of students that leap with full force onto any project I suggest.

I am amazed every day how hard they try, and how much heart and care they put into their work and projects. One way to engage my students is to continue to develop our school's upper grade robotics program. The best way to do this is with the EV3 LEGO Mindstorms Robot Education Kits.

My Project

LEGO EV3 robots are amazing! They can be programmed to go through an obstacle course and scoop up materials. I enjoy helping my students explore all the different levels in robotics that the EV3 offers. I have requested 2 EV3 LEGO Education kits to supplement the kits we currently have. My third grade students will be paired with sixth grade students at our school when they work with robotics twice a week.

Having these 2 EV3 Robotics Kits and EV3 Expansion Kit means that more students will be able to build, explore, and program during our school's robotics studies.

It is great to see student engagement as the students work together in teams to solve engineering problems as they learn to program their robots.
