Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students walk through the door each morning full of energy, ready to learn, and excited to see what knowledge they will gain for the day. I make sure to come to school ready to match that energy.
I teach at a Title I school in southern California where almost all of our students receive free breakfast and lunch.
Eighty-five percent of the students qualify for a free or reduced-price lunch.
Despite the many associated hardships, my students are eager to learn and do their very best which I expect of each of them. They want to be in school because they want to learn, and it's my pleasure to make this happen.
My Project
All students should have the opportunity to immerse themselves in a quality, well-rounded STEM education! To ensure access and equity for my students, would you consider supporting our classroom in this way?
My third graders will love the opportunity to continue in their STEM education using Lego's dedicated robotics EV3 sets!
This set will allow my students to work in a robotics dedicated group and further enhance our STEM program at not only our classroom, but our school site.
Thank you for partnering with us and I am excited to move my students engineering, growth mindset forward with your help.
