I am in the process of starting a LEGO STEM Club at ECES. I would like to service students in grades K-8. The goal is to enrich the lives of the scholars and expose them to the world of STEM.
The Canon DSLR camera will be used to complete make stop animation movies.
The camera would also be used to document that everyone's generous donations are being put to good use.
We will use the medium Lego blocks along with the Lego figurines to add some realistic features to our projects.
The wheel and axle kit will be used to make different Lego vehicles.
The Epson color printer and cardstock will be used to make the STEM Challenge cards for the many projects we will be undertaking.
The popcorn maker will be used to provide the scholars with a tasty treat after school every once and a while.
With these items, we will be able to service all students including students with disabilities.
Thank you for your generosity. It will be put to great use. We look forward to using the LEGOs to work across the curriculum and with our encore teachers to create projects that encompass art and music.
