Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our students crave hands on learning and experimentation. They love to build and design and need materials to do so. Our students also have limited opportunities to participate in afterschool programs.
It is my goal to bring a Lego club to our school where students can learn to problem solve using Lego.
Each session will present students with a unique challenge to solve. They will be given time to design a solution to the problem using Lego. Students will receive exposure to STEM curriculum in a fun and exciting way as they find solutions to various problems.
