Lego Cities in Human Geography

Help me give my students LEGO sets to build urban models in AP Human Geography!

My Project

In AP Human Geography, students learn about a lot of abstract concepts like urban models, the UN Convention of the Law of the Sea, rural land use, etc.

To really learn and wrap their heads around these things, it would be beneficial for students to get hands on and build their own models.

LEGO are a great tool for teaching, not just for fun! In class, I want my students to experience planning, building cities and more. To do this, we want to arrange to purchase some classic LEGO. With our LEGO, students will be able to build urban cities based on various urban models that we study for the AP Exam.
