This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The project will help my students be creative and engineer their own LEGO creating models of buildings and bridges. Students need time to be creative and the center will promote development and refinement of visual and spatial skills.

It will help my students strengthen recognizing patterns and enhancing fine motor skills.

Students need time to think and brainstorm about what they want to build in order to create their own masterpiece. The center will also promote team build and leadership to help students build friendship bonds. Collaborative teamwork encourages joint focus sharing and reinforces positive behavior and social interactions.
