My Students
I enjoy when students walk into a classroom and never want to leave. So far, I've been blessed with classes that enjoy being in the classroom. I believe in making learning fun. I was the kind of student who learned best from hands-on activities and I believe that it is beneficial and fun to all students.
I work in a small group setting with students with special needs.
It is my hope to teach my students to be able to live in a world that they can contribute in.
My Project
In my classroom, we use lego as STEM opportunities in my class, unfortunately there is not enough pieces for all my students to enjoy together. Right now, my students are at a level of imitation in which they use a visual or model to complete their task.
Using Lego STEAM park will allow me to use visuals to have students "match" pieces together to create their park complete with people and animals.
I love giving my students opportunities to work together. Using Lego STEAM park will give me opportunities to create lessons to have my students work together and have something they created to show off.
