My Project

The LEGO brick sets that I am requesting are for learners to use during our Makerspace time in the media center and are meant to be used as an extension and jumping-off point into a greater look into plant life and botany.

Building with LEGO bricks teaches various soft skills that shape the way that the learners work and interact with others including, creative thinking, teamwork, communication, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills.

Learners will be able to come in and work on these sets during their class time and throughout the day. Using LEGO bricks is a great way to improve literacy as kids work with instructions and provide tools that develop lateral thinking in a fun environment all while improving creativity.
