My Project

My students are some of the most hardworking, kind, and lovable children you could ever meet. They come to school each day eager to learn and full of potential. Many of them come from low-income families, and their parents may not have had the most positive experiences in school themselves. Because of this, I’m passionate about bridging the gap between home and school by building strong, supportive relationships with families.

One way I hope to do this is through LEGO Family Day- an engaging, stress-free, and mentally stimulating event that brings students and families together to explore STEM through creative LEGO-building challenges.

To make this possible, I’m requesting support for my DonorsChoose project to provide LEGO sets for our classroom. Your donation would help create a welcoming environment where students and families can bond, learn, and grow together in a fun, educational setting.
