Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My Second Graders are part of the Dual Immersion program that uses Spanish language as a tool to learn Math and master the Spanish language.

This program allows children from different cultures an opportunity to grow as students through classes in both English and Spanish each day.

My Project

These books will give my children the opportunity to improve their pronunciation in the Spanish language and, above all, their understanding of new cultures and to have a better appreciation of values ​​that they can use on a daily basis.

Besides, kids will find their own passion for reading by choosing their own books during free time which allow them endless possibilities of learning words, morals and situations in life.

This will enhance an environment in the class full of learning opportunities through a second language with their favorite books.
