it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Remember going to school and sitting for about 8 hours in a chair listening to the teacher? There were times when you may have wanted to learn and may have not wanted to learn. My students are the exact same way.
Every single day, they always come prepared to learn new things.
Despite all the challenges they face at home, they enjoy the time listening/talking about what they learned in class and tying what they learned to their own experiences. Their drive to learn new topics in school never stops.
My Project
A classroom is where students come to learn. That means a student comes to class with everything they need. This is not always the case. Students about every day forget what they are supposed to bring for class. To ease the stress of not having everything in class, I want to provide my students with pens, highlighters, and charger outlets (for their computers). With 155 students, I want to create a class system where each person will be assigned a number. I figured that the pencil bags would have numbers on them to put highlighters, pens, and calculators. The shoe organizer will also serve as a place to put the pencil bags for all students to use.
Having materials organized in the classroom will ensure that a student will have all equipment needed to learn.
