My students need bed risers for flexible seating to make tables taller and they need stools so they have an option to sit at our "standing table" when they need a break.
All of my students are full of life from the moment they step foot into my classroom every morning until the last little footsteps out at the end of the day. Each and every one of them are so full of energy and eager to learn. There's never a dull moment!
However, this low income title doesn't keep their eager minds from craving all the knowledge it can possibly get.
They constantly ask questions and seek answers. They search for new ideas and different ways to be creative on a day to day basis.
The addition of technology in the classroom will only add to the dimension of creativity they can explore, while they excel academically.
My Project
Differentiation to the max. In my classroom we have been exploring the option of flexible seating, and the kids absolutely love it. They've spent the past few weeks trying out different options and it's been a bigger hit than I ever could have imagined.
My students absolutely love the floor table and especially the standing table, for those students who like to move around, but they tend to get tired and want a break to sit.
Having a comfortable learning environment is important to me, and I want their "home away from home" to be inviting to them. Having a rug and stools available to them would be the icing on top of the cake. I am asking for two sets of Stools, four Shag Rugs, a Mesh Chair, a Pencil Sharpener, and a set of Furniture Risers. I am also an ATPE Member.
