My Project

By using Learning Without Tears Manipulative Pack. This will also help to teach writing skills, letters, and number. Important skills for kindergarten. a better chance in learning their letters and numbers(counting too) is with hands on activities and manipulatives. These will help their fine motor skills also which will develop those small muscles in their hands.

Key Components preschoolers need to learn for kindergarten is identifying letters and their sounds, numbers, and counting to 20, and writing letters in their name.

With the items I chose they will manipulate those fine motor skills and make it easier to develop those very important muscles in their hands.

To quote the Learning without Tears community, "We lead young students to success through a pathway to early literacy that embraces the whole child. Students strengthen essential fine and gross motor skills through hands-on materials, learn through purposeful play, and explore language through connected text.

We plan to use the learning without Tears pack and wood boards to help promote those writing skills. Number activities to help them identify numbers and count. with our sensory letters these will be used to identify and finger trace the letters of the alphabet.
