My Students
I've heard a quote by Jane Goodall, "Each of us impacts the world around us every single day. We have a choice to use the gift of our life to make the world a better place- or not to bother." It makes so much sense to me; if someone has the ability to help other people or simply give their time for a small second, the world can become a better place.

By donating you are supporting the development of children 3-5 years of age some have individual education plans, some are English Language Learners and some are typically developing preschool students, all of my students are learning independence and developing learner skills that they will be using for years to come. If you are able to help a child embrace school at the age of 3 imagine what will come of their abilities and confidence as they grow. When it comes to teaching and being involved with today's students, I strive to instill in them, as a young child, the "Yes I Can" mentality and initiative.
My Project
I have been working in my PreK classroom for 5 years now. My team and I have been developing our own curriculum for the program and I have access to great materials that were left behind by a former teacher, developed specifically for this workshop, "Get Set for School." I have been able to incorporate some of the activities that these materials can be used for, however I have wanted to have a more formal training on the developmental sequence that Learning Without Tears has developed to go along with the materials that I have.
