My Students
First grade is a very fun place to be! My students are creative, curious, silly, thoughtful, hardworking learners. We like learn through hands-on, interactive and engaging projects that challenge us to think outside the box, while also trying to integrate technology into our everyday routine to prepare to be 21st Century learners.
Not everyone learns the same and being able to provided different materials and tasks that will reach every students learning style will allow them to reach their full potential.
My Project
Adding the Tiggly Learning Kit to our first grade classroom would mean that my students are practicing shapes, long and short vowel sounds, and addition and subtraction in an interactive, hands-on approach. Tiggly Words helps students practice long and short vowels, nouns and verbs, phonics and building words. Tiggly Math helps students build skills in counting, addition, subtraction, number sense, problem solving and flexible thinking. Tiggly Shapes help with fine motor skills and shape recognition.
The Tiggly Learner Kit would bring the best of physical and digital learning together in our classroom, helping us to practice our literacy and math skills in an engaging way!
