Everyday my students wait in line to use the classroom computers. Having another computer in the classroom with access to the Internet will be a great resource for the classroom.
My students LOVE technology and want to use it daily.
Having 17 students in the classroom and only two student computers, makes it very difficult for each student to use the computer when they need to. Although, we visit the computer lab as a class once a week, we are in a technology age, where the children could do even more, with the use of the computer daily.
My Project
Having the addition of the HP Netbook Computer and Wireless Mouse, the students would have another opportunity to reach their learning goals. During reading and social studies, students could research the authors and special people we study each week. They would no longer have to wait in a line for the classroom computers. The HP Netbook is small and mobile, students could use it anywhere in the classroom. What a great addition the HP Netbook would be in our classroom.
By donating to the this project and funding the HP Netbook Computer with a Wireless Mouse, you would give my first graders a chance to explore using technology and broaden their learning as they take on a new approach to learning that is mobile and can move through the classroom.
