Learning With Technology

My students need iPads and a charging cart to become better readers and problem solvers.

My Students

My students are 5 and 6 year olds who attend a Title I school. We are a Title I school, because 90% of our students receive free or reduced lunch. My students come from low income families, where there is often only one parent working in the household. Even though my students come from a low economic environment, they are still very eager to learn. My students really need the basic essentials in life, because their parents are unable to provide these things for them.

My Project

These ipads will allow my students to build their reading fluency and comprehension, collaborate to solve math problems, and become well-versed in using technology to direct their own learning.

These iPads will be used for my small guided reading and math groups.

The iPads will increase student engagement, familiarize my students with technology, and make learning experiences enjoyable and fun. With these tools, students will be able to access starfall, reading a-z, interactive literacy activities, and digital math lessons. Also, the cart will charge the ipads over night.

The iPads will build my students' confidence, and help them to become proficient readers and mathematicians. Your donation will create meaningful, authentic learning experiences, and increase overall academic achievement.
