Learning with Technology in Your Lap!

My students need a laptop in the classroom to enhance individual and small group learning.

My Students

Think how dependent we have become with computers in our lives; even our automobiles have GPS systems to find out where you want to go. I know where I want my students to go with technological advancement. We need a laptop computer to be our GPS system to the future.

Our classroom has three student computers and up to twenty-three students in the class.

We have one computer lab with twenty-five computers to serve seven hundred students, which makes scheduling challenging. As you can see, our classroom could benefit from the addition of one computer. My students need to improve their learning using 21st century technology. The new system would be for research projects, small group learning and individualized learning. The laptop would be used to integrate subject areas to enhance my students' learning within the classroom by expanding visual learning, such as videos, games, web research, and other Microsoft Office tools. Having access to more technology will prepare my students for high school, college, and future careers. Every donation is a step towards a brighter future.

My Project

My students need access to technology in order to improve their computer and research skills in creative and innovative ways. The use of technology helps engage and excite students about learning. Students will be able to complete games and activities individually and in small group learning centers. When students are engaged, students are learning!!!

At this time, our classroom has only three student computers.

It would be a great addition to our learning environment if we could add just one more computer at this time. Thanks for your consideration in funding!
