My Students

Kindergarteners are naturally curious and come to school eager to learn and engage with friends and teachers. My students explore their sense of self and their place in the world while developing a sense of responsibility and taking pride in their accomplishments.

My students are naturally curious, they are ready to ask questions, and are naturally critical thinkers.

Within our school community, I help my students analyze and solve problems, make discoveries about themselves, others and the world around them. But most of all we have a lot of fun.

My Project

Technology opens the doorway to learning resources that can help children in their most formative stages of academic development. When it comes to learning letters and numbers and developing letter-sound recognition, tablets are the ideal tools for little hands which often struggle to navigate a mouse. Tablets will help my kindergarteners become more independent when using technology while being convenient and cost-effective.

In today's world, children's learning needs and learning styles differ from traditional approaches.

Children can learn to practice letter, number and reading skills through interactive computer games. With the use of tablets, I will able to differentiate my instruction so that I can incorporate the use of tablets to help students work independently while being free to work with my students who need one-on-one help. I can also use the tablets as an interactive learning tool to help students who need a different entry point into learning.
