This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students currently use their school computers to do learning each day. They enjoy listening to music, play learning games, and enjoy having the audio play to just themselves through the headphones.
We no longer have a class set of headphones, nor do we have a backup stock.
The headphones my students are currently using are falling apart, have only one ear piece working, or have an exposed wire that is mended with tape.
Asking my families to buy a lasting pair of headphones can cause major financial issues. I would love to provide my class with a NEW set of headphones and an extra backstock, if they were the get damaged or are worn down over the next few years. Online learning platforms are a huge part of our day and my students deserve to have working materials.
