My students need a table and science kits for learning stations. They need 1 life cycle kit, 1 plant kit, 1 weather and seasons kit, and 1 magnets kit.
Learning science skills with your hands is so much better than boring old worksheets!
I teach 22 amazing first-grade students in a small East Texas town.
They love to work with hands-on activities that promote creativity. Students do not respond as positively to worksheets as they do to physically manipulating the words, letters, or science manipulative's. My students love to work in stations to learn new concepts.
My Project
Learning with your hands is the best way to grasp science skills and concepts. I have requested a table and science kits that my students can use for their science station. These resources will improve both my stations and whole group instruction during science class. My students will be able to better grasp the concepts of magnets, seasons, life cycles, and more. These resources will provide fun, hands-on learning experiences for station time.
This project would definitely make a positive difference in my classroom!
The students will be engaged and having fun while working in their science station. The kits will promote learning in their differentiated styles. I will be able to use these resources for future classes to come, as well. This project would benefit many more students over the years!
