Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I have 17 students who are eager to learn and have fun at the same time. Having a sensory table and light table will definitely be an asset to the classroom especially for preschoolers. The colored and alphabet beads will help my students build stronger fine motor skills as well as letter knowledge. The light table, moon sand and foam paint can help calm my students when needed especially my students with IEP’s (Individualized Education Plans). All the light table manipulatives will allow my students to explore the properties of color and light while building math, language and science skills all at the same time.
