Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This year, my goal is to give my students a classroom of movement. I want to give them every opportunity to get up and moving.

The biggest struggle in 1st grade is writing.

I am hopeful that by creating vertical learning opportunities with erasable surfaces that students will go out of their comfort zones with their writing.

I also want them to feel comfortable with asking for help, so I would love to get the thumbs up/down paddles, so they are able to give me a visual representation of whether they need more help or not.
