My Students
We are a public Montessori school that is located in the downtown area in our city. Our Montessori students in 6th and 7th grade are very curious about the world around them. Most of our students have been together for all of their school-aged years.
My students are very social individuals who share their knowledge and always like to learn more.
Their minds are like sponges, and they want to soak up as much information as they can. They like discussing different issues in the world around them.
My Project
Any materials that students can put their hands on and discover, makes their learning more meaningful. Students are very curious and ask many questions about science and history. They are always wanting to learn more in those subject areas.
By having these materials, our Montessori students will be able to learn with hands-on materials about the moon phases and periodic table.
These materials will give student an opportunity to have a basic understanding of the phases of the moon and also the periodic table, two concepts that we discuss and learn about in science.
