This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Students from our school are bright and eager to learn. They absolutely enjoy hands-on projects. “Learning by doing” engages our kids by challenging them through real-world and relevant projects.
Our school is situated in the heart of East Los Angeles in a culturally vibrant community.
Many of the families are new immigrants with a hard work ethic. The majority of our students qualify for Title I funding.
Each student in the school has great potential. We incorporate a variety of learning strategies to ensure that each student's needs are met. They are truly an incredible group.
My Project
LEGO Education BricQ Motion engages our freshmen in STEAM learning as they experiment with forces, motion, and interactions in the context of sports. Using special elements like gears, levers, axels, and pulleys, students actively engage in learning physical science as they build cool creations.
The project-based learning will encourage students to discover physical science in action, experiment with forces, motion, and interactions in the context of sports.
Using cool functional elements students actively engage in learning. BricQ Motion provides an introductory hands-on STEAM learning experience with lots of "ah-ha" moments as students set bricks in motion.
