Did you ever wish as a child that learning was fun? Did you ever wish you could play and learn? Well, my students do. They love reading and playing. The Leap Frog Leapster game system would be a fun tool for them to use to help them read, write, and learn different subjects.
My students are general and special education students.
They attend a New York City public school. My students love to be read to and enjoy play time. The Leap Frog Leapster game systems would be another excellent addition to their learning experience in the classroom. The Leapster games would give my students a variety of choices to learn with. My students would think they are playing, but I know they will be learning.
My Project
I am requesting two Leap Frog's Leapster2 hand held game systems and six learning games to go with the Leapsters. Through using the Leap Frog Leapster game systems and games, my students will be able to reinforce the reading skills and strategies that were taught to them. They can also practice writing, spelling, and counting. My students will be able to learn through small group instruction and also work independently during center time.
Learning is an essential part of life.
If a person cannot read or count, they cannot function in society. The Leap Frog Leapster game systems and games will allow my students to learning even more by practicing with a tool that is fun and interactive.
